Q - When did you start drawing?

Q - Are you drawing for yourself or just chasing clout?

I draw what I feel is interesting/funny, so the former. However, I also seek recognition for my art.

Q - But did you have fun drawing that? Cuz that's what matters.

To you it might be the only thing that does. But to answer your question, yes I did. But that doesn't mean it doesn't feel blue when it gets ignored, esp. in environments where most other art is acknowledged. The two concepts are not mutually exclusive.
