TERMS OF SERVICE

This is not your usual TOS document. In fact, quite the opposite.

I do in fact do visual art. But I am first and foremost a programmer and mathematician.

This TOS is more or less constantly changing based on current events.

COMMISSIONS

All art done by NormalExisting is to be done FOR FREE. That's right, no money involved.

Drawings are usually done via game-theoretical or logical contests that mitigate randomness.

Feel free to ask me for art as well but don't do it too frequently :)

SO WHAT'S THE CATCH?

The cost of the art is your participation. Each drawing is an iteration in a game that seeks to demonstrate the willingness (or lack thereof) of the artistic community to be welcoming and supportive towards newer, less skilled, and/or less popular artists.

You can decline to receive art, even if you win contests. In such case the drawing will be passed to the runner up.

But be aware that once you participate in the game (by accepting and receiving a free drawing) you are bound to its rules until the game ends with the 523rd campaign drawing.

The game is easy for the most part, as long as you don't be a dick online and harass people, etc. But abiding by the game's rules also includes showing support towards smaller and/or less skilled and/or less popular creators.

THE RULES

All the rules should be trivial assuming the community is what it describes itself as. Don't be intimidated by the wording, it's to make things more rigorously defined. In reality things are a lot more informal than are listed here.

THEOREM 1 - Every single drawing posted on this profile is a masterpiece and is worthy of utmost respect, regardless of actual quality of art.

PROOF - A human created each and every one of them. If people are to insist that human expression separates real art from for example AI generated content then the theorem comes as a simple corollary.

Corollary 1.1 - Players cannot simultaneously oppose generative AI and mock/harass/etc. new/lesser skilled artists for the quality of their art.

THEOREM 2 - Mathematics, programming, algorithms, code, etc. are a valid form of art and are to be respected as such.

PROOF - Artists express themselves through their art. It is a language that they are fluent and well-versed in. As a programmer and mathematician, I am merely doing the same.
